Mouse pad“MP500”/TAURILLON LAGUN
TAURILLON LAGUN is a shrunken leather produced by Rémy Carriat, a tannery in the Basque region of Southern France that has maintained its traditions for nearly 100 years.
Shrunken leather refers to leather that has undergone a process to create wrinkles called "shibo" on its surface during the finishing process.
Since it is natural shrunken leather, the size of the grain is not uniform, but it is characterized by its rich, three-dimensional appearance.
This high-quality leather, also used by luxury brands, has a moist, soft, and fluffy feel.
Even for those who don't usually use a mouse pad, this leather mouse pad will make you happy when you happen to see it.
A steel plate weighing approximately 500g is sandwiched between the leather to provide appropriate weight and prevent the mouse pad from slipping.
The underside uses the bottom surface (toko-zai) of sliced leather.
Using a slightly rough material further prevents slipping.
The cross-section, called the "koba," is coated with pigment, giving it an elegant impression.
It measures 17cm x 17cm.
